Statistics & settings

Optional statistics

With your permission, we use our own Matomo installation at stat.strahlhofer.com to understand website usage. You can decline statistics. All content and the contact form remain available.

What we measure

Page views, project and service clicks, language changes, project filters, FAQ openings, menu actions, display changes, phone and email clicks, and successfully submitted enquiries. Contact events contain only the type of action, never names, email addresses or message text.

No tracking cookies or recognition

Matomo enforces cookieless tracking. IP addresses are fully masked and only masked addresses are used for visit enrichment. Each request receives a new random identifier; actions are not joined into recognised visits. Referrer URLs are not stored. Our integration disables browser feature and campaign detection and removes query strings and fragments from tracked page addresses.

Change your choice

Use “Statistics settings” in the footer to grant or withdraw permission at any time. No further statistics events are sent after withdrawal. Withdrawal does not retroactively delete previously collected data.

Storing your choice

Your decision is stored for up to 180 days in your browser's local storage under expert-analytics-choice-v1. It contains your choice, its expiry and the Matomo configuration, but no individual visitor identifier. We ask again after expiry or deletion of browser storage.

Local preview

Development and test environments do not send statistics to Matomo. You can already try the consent controls here.
